1. Engage in role-play exercises with a colleague/friend where you practice recommending products to clients using the P.R.I.D.E. System. You can take on the roles of both therapist and client to get a feel for how these conversations might go.

2. Pick a few products from the product list (e.g., massage balls, essential oils) and research them thoroughly. This could include learning about their ingredients, benefits, and how to use them effectively.

  • Do you believe recommending at-home care is an essential part of client wellness?

  • Do you feel comfortable suggesting products to your clients?

  • Do you regularly practice presenting products using a system (like P.R.I.D.E.)?

  • Do you understand the benefits and usage of each product you recommend?

3. Create flashcards with the name of a product on one side and its key features/benefits on the other. Shuffle the cards and take turns explaining the benefits as if recommending to a client.

  • Do you feel hesitant or confident?

  • What fears or concerns do you have?

  • How can shifting your mindset from “selling” to “helping” improve your approach?

  • Why are these products effective?

  • How can you demonstrate or explain their benefits to clients?

  • What made the recommendation successful?

  • How did the client respond?

  • What did you learn from that experience?
